2024 Covid-19 Guidelines

Friends, Families, and Attendees of iFC

Firstly, we would like to thank all of you for your continued support and patronage throughout the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. From our first virtual iFC in 2020 to our most recent convention cycle of 2023, we have tried our absolute best to maintain those recommendations of the CDC and Marion County. All of that, while still raising a combined $61,854.72 between 2020-2023 for our various charities.

And For iFC 2024, and moving forward, we will be maintaining that priority
commitment to both public and attendee health as we continue to align ourselves with the Marion County Department of Public Health’s recommendations: whether that be in regard to COVID-19 or any future public
health emergencies.

It is because of that fact, that as of April 20th, 2024, the IndyFurCon Board of Directors has made the decision to lift the requirements and restrictions regarding COVID-19 for the upcoming convention, slated to take place from August 23rd to 25th, 2024.

Please refer to the additional information on the right (Or below on Mobile!), and remember to stay connected with us on Twitter/X in order to keep up-to-date with any and all future updates regarding iFC.

So What Does this Mean for Me?
– We will neither be requiring nor checking
vaccine cards or vaccination status of our
attendees;
– Nor will we be requiring the use of masks or
other PPE in public convention or hotel
spaces.

How Can I Keep Myself Safe?
– We recommend that all attendees still
continue to practice commonplace
cleanliness and sanitary procedures,
including but not limited to: showering daily
and washing hands after using the
restrooms.

– Additionally, if you or a friend are exhibiting
symptoms either before, during, or after the
convention, get tested!

– Should you test positive, we here at iFC do
still respectfully ask for you to abstain from
public engagements and try your absolute
best to self isolate out of respect for our
other attendees.
